So, I decided to check out how QR Codes work for the first time. They’re actually quite interesting, and I’d love to know more about how they work! This code, if scanned with a smart phone camera, will open a link to my Pinterest Board where I have curated drawing inspiration and tutorials. I have several other boards for various other things (writing inspiration, crochet projects, tattoo art I admire, etc.), and I love using Pinterest for organization ideas—honestly it would be really great to start a board for classroom design.
To get this code I just searched for a free QR Code generator on Google. It was really simple. Try it out sometime! It can definitely be used in the classrooms for students to access links quickly and efficiently from handouts (rather than having links that would have to be typed in individually).
The link for the Pinterest Board would have been: https://pin.it/uld5cx4riu3cj3
That would be a really awkward bit of text to try to type in accurately. The same can be said for YouTube videos, which often have quite complex assortment of characters in the links. Curation of resources takes time and effort, so why not make them as accessible as possible after all the work you’ve done to gather them? Why not make them easier to share?
